Orc Dark Lord - Creature Design

I started with an idea of designing a fictional hybrid creature with humanoid functionality. Exploring the concept of orcs, I combined Octopus, hippopotamus and bulky human. This orc has a back lore of wicked lineage. It’s highly intellectual and lazy, It resides under the misty mountains with his fellow demons, pillages lives and food from nearby tribal communities, cruelness and wickedness are his nature. His angerness is resembled with hippo head and its multi-functionality nature through the octopus huge brain and tentacles. It relies on a red sticky fluid, well known for it’s wicked inventions. The symbols at waist indicates its lineage as the dark lords. It’s height is estimated as thrice a normal man. It emits a warm red colour within it’s body.
After the R&D, I prepared a ref swatch to study it’s hectic shape and the material to be painted. I came through few head concept variations (12). In order to visualize its form I made a 3D sculpt of its head.
